This month marks 5 years of business for Jo D, I cannot believe it has already been that long! I set up my business from my kitchen table in the midst of a chat with a girlfriend about her imminent wedding and gift list. She couldn't find great quality and contemporary cups and saucers that she liked, and simply put, there came the idea to start designing fine bone china!
Over the last 5 years I have learned more than I ever thought would be possible. My passion for what we do here at Jo Deakin has never faltered. I am determined to provide quality, choice and thoughtful design with each product we produce. I am incredibly proud to be a 100% British Brand, where Made in England is not just a line, but the actual reality and back-bone of Jo D.
I am incredibly grateful to my small but wonderful team that help me everyday with the day to day running, production and delivery of our brand and products. To Louise, Emma, and everyone in Stoke-on-Trent, a huge thank you to you all.
Running a business is hard, especially in recent times of Covid and the cost of living crisis.
